Before Your Consultation
A Kundli Reading is most productive when you arrive prepared. Here is how to make the most of your session.
1. Gather Your Birth Details
The three pieces of information essential for casting your Janam Kundli are:
- Date of birth — the day, month, and year
- Time of birth — as accurately as possible; even minutes can matter
- Place of birth — the city or town and country
If you are unsure of your birth time, check your birth certificate, hospital records, or ask family members. If the time cannot be established, mention this to Dr. Kaushik. Techniques such as Prashna (horary astrology) can sometimes be used as an alternative.
2. Identify Your Questions
A Kundli Reading covers a wide range of life areas. To make the session focused and useful, note down your specific concerns. Common areas include:
- Career direction and professional growth
- Relationship compatibility and marriage timing
- Health matters
- Financial planning and suitable periods for major investments
- Spiritual and personal development
3. Approach the Session with Openness
A Kundli Reading offers perspective, not certainty. Planetary positions describe tendencies and timing; they do not determine fate irrevocably. The most valuable sessions are those where the consultation is approached as a thoughtful dialogue.
4. Take Notes
During the session, consider noting key points — especially Dasha periods, significant placements, or remedial suggestions — so you can reflect on them afterwards.
After Your Reading
A good reading gives you a framework for self-understanding. If certain suggestions are recommended — such as particular remedies, timing for decisions, or follow-up questions — note these down and discuss timelines with Dr. Kaushik.
